The Space
The inspiration behind Good Times Retreat is to create a space for making lifelong memories and for spending precious time with your friends and family. Offering thoughtful touches throughout that hopefully mean you can make the most of every moment of your well-earned escape from the daily grind.
Goolwa Beach is moments away for an early morning swim and coffee at Kuti Shack. With the sound of waves crashing in the distance, you’re free to star gaze, roast marshmallows and drink hot chocolate around the outdoor stone fire pit.
Cooking
The kitchen has the aesthetic charm of a 50’s Beach house but is totally refurbished with new easy-to-use appliances to whip up sumptuous meals. The open plan means that cooking and social time can go hand in hand. Chefs in the kitchen, chopping, preparing and chatting away to the others while they relax.
Butler’s Pantry
The filled-to-the-brim butler’s pantry has all the modern appliances to whip up a feast for your hungry guests. Air fryer, Thermo multi-function mixer/cooker, Breville Juicer, Delonghi Nespresso coffee machine, cafetieres, platters, dining sets, beautiful wine glasses, napkins and placemats. Stocked to set the most gorgeous table for your landmark celebrations. The additional bench space and sink mean that you can comfortably make a full multi-course dining experience or a quick n easy in dinner in the air fryer and a tossed salad.

Dining & Feasts
Let’s Eat! Enjoy meals at the dining table, which extends to accommodate up to parties of 8 with plenty of elbow room (nobody gets the short straw, having to sit straddling the table leg). Set under the glow of the pink neon ‘good times’ sign capturing the moment, ready to post it straight to socials.
You can also take casual meals on the balcony dining table and benches undercover, protecting you from all weather, and giving you a tree-side dining experience overlooking the garden. A BBQ is also available ready to flame up for your carnivore or herbivore group.
Lounging Space
Open a bottle of wine, light the fire and relax into the spacious lounge, set up to be conversational and social. A discrete Samsung Picture Frame TV blends into the deco when it’s not being used but is ready for you to catch up on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, or flick on the news. Ready to go with one click of a button, no fussing around to log into accounts or navigate a frustrating TV matrix system. For movie night and big-screen film action, head to the Pool House.

Kindly note that this property has a strict maximum capacity of 8 guests; limited to a maximum of 5 adults per stay, and the balance as children. For example 4 adults and 4 children, or 2 adults and up to 6 children.
The beds will be freshly made for guest arrival with sheets, pillowcases, and quilt covers. Bath towels, mats, hand towels, and tea towels are all supplied. Please bring your own beach towels.
Whilst we welcome you to enjoy this beautiful property, pool and surrounds, there is a no-day visitor policy in place. This means that you can’t ínvite any extra people for a day visit for a swim, or bbq etc for safety and septic-water use reasons.
100% Pet-Friendly
This property is 100% pet-friendly, and your well-behaved pets are welcome indoors. There is a grassed area that is fully fenced. The property’s lowest point is 1500mm, no gap.
If using the fireplace, please bring firelighters, matches, kindling, and wood.
Extra Guest Charge:
Our standard rate is for 2 guests only. Please note that an additional fee will apply $27 per person per night in excess of 2 guests.
Note: If an extra guest after 2 is staying for 1 night only, it's $54 for 1 night.
